It's been a whole year since Darlybird opened its "doors." And it's been a lot of fun and a lot of . . . WORK~
I started Darlybird out of a desperate need to fulfill myself creatively, intellectually, emotionally, but mainly personally. And it's worked----to a large extent. I've learned so much about myself and how I work (or don't), about business (kind of), and about trusting my gut and taking risks. I'm so glad I did it! There are moments when I kind of wish I could undo everything and just go back to being a carefree non-business-mom, but those moments are fleeting. I usually end up happy and glad that I've chosen this path.
